Measuring and improving warehouse performance can be really hard!

At a recent seminar in Sydney (coming to Melbourne soon), Mal Walker one of Logistics Bureau’s warehousing specialists shared a few great tips on this topic.

We even ran through a short case study with all of our guests really ‘getting into it’ and discovering not only the right warehouse KPIs to be used, but also:

  1. Types of warehouse product flow.
  2. Overall warehouse site flow.
  3. The advantages and disadvantages of different storage and handling equipment.

In fact it was almost ‘warehouse design’ for non warehouse managers.

There are a couple of seats left for our Melbourne seminar if you are really quick!  Jump on here: Logistics Bureau Events

And based on the enthusiasm of our guests for this topic and the desire to improve warehouse performance, Mal Walker and I have put together a really simple and quick warehouse audit service that costs under $10,000!

It covers:

  1. Benchmarking Warehouse Performance.
  2. A Process Review
  3. A Layout Review
  4. An Equipment Review
  5. Improvement Opportunities identified
  6. Prioritisation of Opportunities

It’s a really great way to quickly assess your warehouse performance and warehousing KPIs and see what can be easily improved.
