Purpose: To introduce delegates to the fundamentals of transportation contract management.

Session Six: Factory Gate Pricing and Cost-to- Serve

Purpose: To show delegates how the moves by major retailers towards Factory Gate Pricing impacts on the supply chain, and how Cost-to-Serve analysis will help to illuminate the costs and savings that need to be negotiated.

  • What is Factory Gate Pricing and its objectives?
  • How the supply chain impacts on Retailers and Suppliers
  • Using Cost-to-Serve to establish visibility of your cost base.

Session Seven: Questions, Answers and Discussions

Delegates are invited to discuss issues that have arisen either as a result of their attending the workshop, or from their own experiences in their place of work.

COLIN AIRDRIE is Managing Director of Logistics Bureau (Asia) Limited, based in Bangkok Thailand, a subsidiary of Logistics Bureau Pty, the largest management consultancy specializing in Supply Chain in the Asia Pacific Region.
