Logistics Bureau Peer Groups

A trusted peer forum that accelerates supply chain performance — by turning benchmarking into action.

This Is For You If…

You are responsible for supply chain, logistics, warehousing or transport performance, you already know the challenge: improvement is hard when you’re solving problems in isolation.

Logistics Bureau Peer Groups are invite-only Business Improvement Groups where a small number of non-competing organisations work together in a confidential, structured program to benchmark performance, share what’s working, and accelerate measurable improvement.

A Peer Group is a face-to-face learning and improvement forum for senior supply chain and logistics leaders—designed to help members build a common view of what good looks like, identify the true drivers of performance, and transfer practical best practice that can be implemented quickly.

Each group typically includes 8–10 organisations, with members selected to ensure:

  • Non-competing participants
  • Similar scale/complexity where helpful
  • A willingness to share, contribute and implement

This is a great opportunity to work alongside peers who genuinely understand your challenges, and return to your organisation with clarity, confidence, and a practical roadmap for improvement.

What you’ll get as a member

1) Benchmarking that actually drives improvement

Peer Groups follow a repeatable improvement cycle:

define success factors → agree KPIs → compare performance → identify gaps → understand process drivers → transfer best practice → implement → review progress.

This structure keeps the group focused on outcomes, not opinions.

2) Faster learning from people who are doing the job

You’ll gain practical insights from leaders who are tackling the same issues—productivity, service, cost, planning, inventory, automation, safety, and systems—without the trial-and-error you’d face alone.

3) A confidential environment you can trust

Our Peer Groups are built on:

  • Mutual trust, openness, and a “win/win” mindset
  • Clear confidentiality (“what’s said in the room stays in the room”)
  • Professional discipline (attendance, preparation, phones off)

4) Access to wider best practice (not just the room)

Logistics Bureau facilitates the sessions and, where useful, brings in insights from best practice across Australia and internationally and specialist speakers aligned to the group’s priorities.

Who This Is For

This is for leaders who:

  • Own performance outcomes (cost, service, productivity)

  • Value a forum that is practical, confidential and action-oriented

Typical members include Supply Chain Directors/Managers, Logistics Managers, DC/Warehouse Managers, Transport/Fleet Managers, and Operations Leaders.

Membership criteria (so the group stays valuable)

We know from experience that peer groups only work when the right organisations are in the room. Members are expected to:

  • Participate actively and share experiences
  • Respect confidentiality
  • Prepare for meetings and follow through on actions

If that sounds like you, and you’re ready to invest in meaningful peer exchange, we encourage you to reach out to us and we can explore whether a Peer Group is the right fit for your needs.

To Find Out More.. Book a Call

Apply for Peer Group Membership, book a short call to confirm fit (industry, scope, non-compete alignment and goals).

There’s no obligation, it’s simply a conversation to understand your priorities and see whether a current or upcoming group is right for you. We’ll also answer any questions you have about how the program works, what’s involved, and what past members have achieved.

Spaces are limited to maintain group quality, so if you’re interested, it’s worth starting the conversation early.
