We love sharing information and discussing the latest industry developments with supply chain aficionados. This is especially important now that global supply chains are being battered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have weekly videos, a very extensive blog, and posts on social media, and we also share free supply chain webinars.
Very importantly, we will host a webinar that will focus on what is happening now, what we can expect, and the various ways that you can keep your supply chain up and running.
The webinar will deal with issues that all business executives and supply chain managers are confronting now that the global economy is being assailed by the pandemic.
We’re Putting the Focus on the Positives
Factories have reopened and production is ramping up in China again after a two-month Coronavirus lockdown, permitting cautious optimism that the pandemic may be shorter-lived in the rest of the world than initially feared.
And even though a global recession is looking probable, smart businesses are those that develop coping mechanisms to survive the slumps and be ready for take-off when the economy begins to revive.
Our webinar, therefore, will focus on ways to get through the current crisis, and how to position your business for the inevitable recovery.
Our discussions will revolve around three distinct time frames:
- Surviving today’s challenge and keeping our supply chains functioning as efficiently as possible under the restrictive circumstances.
- Looking ahead to the next few months and the new issues and challenges likely to arise.
- The longer-term view, which sees the pandemic subsiding and resilient businesses beginning to bounce back.
This is a free webinar. We are not trying to sell anything. It is just something that we use to share knowledge with our ever-growing audience. We hope that it may help and give you some ideas.
We will be offering this webinar across a range of time zones, with the first one timed for the Australia-New Zealand audience—at 10.00 am (dates to be announced).
Book Early – Our Webinars are Always Packed Out
We haven’t done webinars for a while but when we do, they get absolutely packed out, so I would advise early booking to avoid disappointment.
And when it comes around to the time of the webinar, I recommend that people jump on about 10 minutes early. Because what often happens is that at the advertised starting time we get 300-400 people all trying to jump on, which slows the system down a bit.
Give us your Feedback
This is where you can get involved—and we welcome it. We’d like some feedback about what topics you would like to see included in our webinars—not only the upcoming ones but future ones as well. What would help you the most?
