We already count several companies in Argentina among those who have engaged our logistics and supply chain consultants, so we’re not new to the challenges faced by business leaders in Buenos Aires and elsewhere in the country.
Many of our previous assignments in Argentina have been in the mining and mineral industries, with several of our consultants having acquired local knowledge of how that sector operates.
Previous projects have involved evaluation of freight transportation modes (road and rail), warehouse and materials handling system design, and optimisation of export operations through primary sea ports in Argentina and Chile.
Globally, though, Logistics Bureau’s thousands of completed projects have encompassed most commercial and industrial sectors, including:
- FMCG and beverage
- Energy, construction, and mining
- Government and economic development
- Third-party logistics

Whichever space your company occupies, we’ll be pleased to discuss any logistics and supply chain issues you are facing, or initiatives you are planning, to assess how we can help you and explain the guaranteed benefits of engaging us.

Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting in Argentina
During 2020 and 2021, the world of business was disrupted massively by the Coronavirus pandemic. One of the most significant effects was the curtailment of many facilities enabling people to move freely and travel internationally.
In recognition of the need for change, we began developing the capabilities necessary to provide our services with less need—or even none at all—for our consultants to physically spend time in our clients’ businesses.
As a result, we can now offer ALL services of our logistics and supply chain consultants in Argentina via remote delivery methods, enabling you to complete your projects without bringing external people to your business locations. Our remote solutions are also very affordable in comparison with the fees attached to conventional consulting contracts.
In addition to providing remote services customized to your needs, we also offer a new range of packaged remote diagnostic solutions, to help you fast-track specific supply chain and logistics improvements.
Our diagnostic packages cover a range of supply chain management elements, including the following:
- Inventory management: Suffering from inventory blowouts or generally poor IM performance? We’ll help you improve with our inventory management excellence model.
- Safety stock reduction: We’ll aid you in assessing and optimizing your safety inventory levels.
- Supply chain planning: Improve your strategic effectiveness with our remote consulting solution that’s focused on inventory, inbound supply, demand, KPIs, and S&OP.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. I did not hear of Logistics Bureau before. What is your marketing approach?
We’ve always maintained a low-profile marketing approach, with more than 60% of our business made up of repeat engagements with existing clients. Another 30% of our work arises from referrals, and a small percentage is generated as a result of inbound enquiries.
2. How do you charge for your services?
We can agree to charge on a fixed fee basis or at a daily rate. The daily rate is preferred by some of our existing clients, especially for projects such as implementation support, when they need flexibility in the number of days that our consultants provide for them. However, most of our work is based on a fixed, agreed fee, for a defined scope of work and outcome.
3. How do you determine the level of fees?
We base them on the resources that we calculate to be necessary to achieve your project’s goal. We judiciously scope and plan each project with the client before we submit any proposal. Our aim is always to ensure that everyone involved in a project shares common expectations.
Detailed project planning is the next step, in order to ascertain realistic time lines and resource requirements. This preliminary effort comes at no cost to the client, and we will complete two or three iterations of a proposal if necessary—to make certain we get it right.
We take the utmost care in our project planning and pricing. We have to—because we guarantee the results!
4. Do you work with us remotely, or on site in our business?
Ultimately, the nature and needs of your project or program will drive the way we provide our consulting services. For some engagements, the presence of one or more of our logistics experts will be essential, at least for some project segments.
However, as we have recently developed a robust range of remote consulting methodologies, and new digital tools, the need for on-site consulting is not as critical as it once was. Wherever possible, we will aim for a hybrid approach, involving a combination on-site and remote service provision.
That said, we understand that the current pandemic situation requires avoidance of business travel, and the presence of external visitors in your business, as much as possible. That’s why we now offer 100% remote consulting for all our services, as long as we believe it can meet your needs. In the majority of situations, we’re confident that it will.
5. Will we receive real value in return for payment of a consulting fee?
Our CEO, Rob O’Byrne, offers a personal response to address this concern, and by publishing his quote here, we hope that will answer this essential question.
Here is what Rob will be pleased to tell you if you speak with him in person:
“I offer you my personal assurance, that at Logistics Bureau, you will. The majority of our consulting assignments result in a payback for the client within six months. That’s why we have loyal customers, many of whom have been with us since we launched our business in July 1997.”
