Senior Consultants within Logistics Bureau have the responsibility to deliver specific project outcomes to our customers. They will generally specialise within a given area of Supply Chain and Logistics Management, but must also have a broader understanding of business process and issues.

Consultants within Logistics Bureau are the technicians supporting our project work. They undertake specific areas of analysis and modeling to establish solutions for our customers.

Analysts within Logistics Bureau provide a range of analytical support utilising applications such as Access, SQL Server and Exel, as well as specialist software tools.
To be successful in this role, the following qualities are essential and should be considered a minimum entry point:
- Be an advanced user of Access, Excel, SQL, and VBA.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Have at least a first degree in a business discipline, (Accounting, Operations Research, Supply Chain or Logistics majors will have an advantage)

Specific Vacancy - Logistics Consultant - Warehouse Design
Materials Handling Solution Design
Storage Solutions Design
Process Improvement Focus
This role is full time and Sydney based.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to identify, extract and collate key business information and data
- Analyse SKU level transaction and inventory data to establish product velocities and storage and handling requirements
- Identify appropriate putaway, pick, pack and despatch processes
- Establish optimum storage methods
- Prepare CAD drawings
- Prepare indicative capital and operational costs and cash flows
- Prepare detailed reports for Board level presentation
The successful applicant MUST:
- Be an advanced user of Access, Excel and CAD
- Have advanced data manipulation skills
- Have English as a first language
- Have a sound knowledge of materials handling technologies including conveyors
- Understand basic WMS functionality and how it supports/ impacts warehouse processes
- Have a thorough knowledge of storage media design
- Have at least 5 years experience in the design of storage and handling solutions, with either a major equipment supplier or 3PL

Senior Training Consultant
Reports to: Managing Director, Logistics Bureau (Asia) Limited
General Job Description:
Responsible for the profitability of the LBA training branch.
Responsible for all aspects of delivering the CIPS training courses and other training courses provided by LBA, covering:
• Marketing the training courses;
• Selling the courses;
• Administration;
• Organising training programmes;
• Delivering training;
• Maintaining the quality of training delivered;
Also:
• Management consultancy projects when appropriate.
Qualifications and Profile:
- Thai-national,
- Bangkok-based
- MBA or Masters degree in business-related subject
- Excellent English skills
- At least 5-8 years experience in a senior management position in procurement, purchasing, merchandising or similar up-stream supply chain activity;
- Membership of CIPS would be an advantage;
- Experience of lecturing, delivering training courses, public speaking or similar activities;
Salary:
Negotiable. The package will be built around a fixed salary for the training activities and a daily rate for involvement in consultancy projects.
